We don’t just monitor whether you have an SSL Certificate in place. We also check that your HTTP to HTTPS Redirects are up and running.

We’ll already alert you if your SSL Certificates are due to expire. But even when they’re in place correctly, you can encounter issues switching for HTTP addresses to HTTPS. The main issue is having the correct redirects in place so that users and search engines see the secure version of your website – and only that version.

We check to make sure that you are using a 301 redirect to only display your secure website and anyone using old links or addresses with http will be moved across properly. So no issues with duplication, site security warnings or old business cards and advertising sending people to the wrong website address.
