Little Warden was flagging a client SSL certificate was due to expire in 30 days. I checked with the client and he was adamant there was over a year left before auto-renewal. A few days later I noticed the countdown had moved to 20 days. I checked again and noted the certificate provider and asked the client to check the account with the certificate provider. That’s when he remembered that he’d quickly grabbed a free SSL to migrate as we were moving fast on a number of projects with him at the time. He had then purchased the slightly more pricey, well researched certificate we had recommended but had forgotten to swap it out on the server.
Without Little Warden we would have had no way of spotting this human error before the certificate expired, which could have led to significant loss of earnings.

Up until I stumbled across Little Warden I was faced with various mundane weekly checks on my clients websites which I had to perform manually, with this new service I get an email alert if something is not quite right with one of the SEO impacting elements on the sites, so far I have a few alerts and been able to react to them quickly. This is just what every SEO needs and I look forward to seeing the various new features they add to the product.
