Working with another agency? Website hacked? Unexpected changes to your Name Servers are never good.
Between the website address you type, and the numbers of the IP address indicating the server it’s hosted on, sit the Name Servers. They stop you having to type in string of numbers very time you want to visit your website. Normally, that’s a very good thing. But it does mean any changes to your Domain Name Server (DNS) can cause massive problems.
A change could be an honest mistake. It could be a client switching agencies without warning. Or it could be a malicious hacker using a DNS hijack to redirect your traffic to another server without anyone realising. Whatever the reason, you want to know if there are any changes which could result in your website not loading, or indicate something darker. And we will do just that, allowing you to immediately respond to any modifications.
